According to the Africa News Service, the President of the United States said in an article that Obama wants to help support Africa by sending military personnel. Another article for the Toronto Star stated that Britain is also bringing troops over. These assets are suppose help put up treatment facilities and provide security for these facilities. In America, or more specifically the government of the United States do not need support from other countries like Canada. This is because the U.S. can support itself unlike Africa who needs extra help from other countries.

Vaccines Re-purposed: The interaction theme of geography shows geography is destiny by having the tests of having other vaccines being re-purposed to fight Ebola. Again these tests are from other countries other than Africa. This was stated form the New York Times as they write about new radical ways of fighting Ebola. In Africa there wouldn't be any ideas like this because their healthcare is next to none.These interactions with other countries have been trying to develop a treatment. Other poorer and third world countries were not able to help. Therefore, geography has a major effect on its people.
