SUMMARY: In the video article “ISIS threatens military families” published by Fox News on October 4th, a news reporter speaks with the military spouse of the year (Reda Hicks) about her opinion on the situation. Reda says she is torn between two feelings, concern and bravery. She is terrified for military families because she doesn’t want any of them to be kidnapped or killed. She also knows she can’t stand to the sidelines and be frightened for then ISIS will have the upperhand hand and feel power over families. Reda suggests to make a fight and do something to stop the terror groups plans before they take action. The reporter in this video questioned Reda on many things like her solution to this problem, her thoughts, and how bad does she think ISIS can become.
ANALYSIS: I believe ISIS is a major threat and that the government needs to put a stop to their actions. The military families should never be faced with something like this and guards should be protecting the core families that are being targeted. Extra security should be placed in computers to protect house addresses and phone numbers so the terror group doesn’t find them and use it against families.

The government should be protecting the families that are being targeted. They should be supplying the military families with extra security, so that they don't get kidnapped or killed.

ReplyDeleteI agree that ISIS needs to be stopped. I can't imagine how scary it is to receive these threats. I think the government can protect the families by sending people in to help and protect them, and also increase their effort to stop ISIS. I think that ISIS will continue to make threats as long as no one is stopping them.
i think that higher security should be placed on the military families because they are in a dangerous situation and could be kidnapped or killed by the ISIS

ReplyDeleteI agree with what you said that more security should be placed upon military families for protection. The ISIS could attack at any time as long as they are not stopped. So therefore, I don't think there is a way to predict when the next attack will happen because in reality, it could happen at the least expected moment if they are not stopped.
