SUMMARY: Students in Denver started a protest against the changes made to the history classes at their school. the protest started out small but turned into big groups. Most of them gathered on a busy intersection chanting “Education without limitations!” they were also waving signs around and American flags.
ANALYSIS: I agree with what the students did because they were fighting for their educational rights. They were fighting for what they thought was right. Those students went out on a busy intersection to protest what their school was doing. i think they did the right thing.

QUESTIONS: Do you agree/disagree with the protest they started? What other way do you think they could’ve handled fighting for their rights in school? Why do you think the school made changed to their classes?

ReplyDeleteI believe that what the kids did when they protested against the school was a fair thing to do. The kids seemed to care a lot about their history class and not wanting it to change. I believe that another solution that the kids could have done instead of protesting would have been to talk to their school board about the changes in the class.

DeleteI agree with the protest they started because they were sticking up and believing in what they feel is right. I think they handled it a good way, but they could have handled it better if they were to not protest at all and show up to school. The school would eventually need their students back! I think the school made changes to their history classes because they feel something needed to be different and teach their students what they felt is important. Clearly I disagree with that.
ReplyDeleteI like how they stood up for their school but the teacher's decision wasn't that big of a deal. They need to accept the new rule and learn to deal with it so they can get back to class.
