I find this topic interesting because the media, such as advertisements, magazines, and just the internet in general , has so much power nowadays. Many would assume that the media would use its power for the better. Similarly, many assume there is less racism now than there was before. Although our country has come a long way, there is evidently still is racism in our country, a lot of it. I think it would be interesting to see how the media may have a part in somehow creating more racism. Also, I am interested to find out if people really shape their views and morals based off of media and why. Similarly, maybe the media is decreasing racism.
