Overall Question: How has the evolution of hockey shaped people's beliefs?

Research Question: What has caused hockey to change so much over all these years?

Compared to the '80s and '90s, the game today looks stronger than ever. Our players are bigger, faster, and possess more skill than over 95 percent of the players from previous decades. Coaching strategies have evolved, and year-round conditioning is a must for every player. Though some of this is good, I can also see this being a negative factor because now since everyone is bigger and technology has made us become even faster, hockey players can suffer an injury a lot easier than ever before. So now a lot of people think the game is more dangerous than ever before and they may not want anyone they know to play hockey because they might be too scared of of allowing a chance to see that person they like get hurt.
