Overall question: How does the media affect young girls self esteem?
Research question: How do famous women and models have a huge affect on young girls about the way their body looks?
I am interested in this topic because it affects so many girls my age, even younger. All girl celebrities and even the barbie doll have great figures and are skinny, so that makes young girls want to be just like them. Most of the time, it’s a really bad thing because girls torment themselves if they are not able to look the way they want. They do many terrible things to themselves which is scary and even life threatening. I'm researching how these girls try to look like the celebrities and why.
